The Weekend Review: Cargo Concealer

I think I’m a beauty commitment phobe. Even when I have a set up working for me, I can’t resist trying something new.

This time it was a new concealer, by Cargo.cargoThis is the first Cargo product I’ve ever used. I remember long ago when it used to be sold in Boots, but you don’t really see it much these days. It was initially bought to use as part of my dark circle cover up routine with a view to using it on no foundation days if it was good enough.

The colour swatch on the tube is pretty accurate and is actually quite dark, despite being called ‘fair/medium’. It applies quite nicely with the wand built into the lid but I struggle to get a lot of liquid out. If I were to use this on more than my eyes I’d get annoyed with how long it would take to get out of the tube. It does make me wonder how long it’ll actually last. The consistency of the product is a little thin and the coverage isn’t all that great sadly. I’ve been using this instead of ‘Stay Don’t Stray’ by Benefit and it surprisingly has less coverage. Given this is supposed to be a foundation and concealer in one, I was expecting a lot from this.

For £14.40 I wouldn’t buy this again.
