The Planner Society February Review
I’m very late with this review!
Even now, I still haven’t played with everything I received in my box. However, as I know I’m about to be hit with a shipping notification for March I figured I should get a shimmy on and write this!
Just look at all these colours! I’m a massive fan of pink and blue, and thanks to this subscription I’m really starting to love yellow too. This box was lovely to open. Opening it there was actually only one item I was ‘meh’ about – the pencil case. Everything else was pretty much love at first sight.
This month, along with the usual papers we got two sheets of vellum and one thicker plastic sheet (the blue bow one). I’m really loving receiving some slightly different media. The vellum will be ideal for cards (as seen in my card post earlier this week) and the thicker sheet will make some great dashboards. I’m not too sure what I’ll use to cut that yet though, maybe I’ll just dig out my craft knife. Again, you’ll have seen the die cuts in use if you saw my Mother’s Day cards from earlier in the week. These designs are just so perfect and pretty for Spring. While I wouldn’t normally use die cuts in my planner, as these are quite thin they shouldn’t bulk out my pages too much.
Look at those stickers! They’re perfect for creating some lovely Spring spreads in my bullet journal. The little pockets were the thing I was most intrigued about. Two of them are just regular shaker cards and the other two are pocket cards. I’m going to be punching the pocket ones and putting them in my Pocket Finsbury (set up post coming soon!) The shaker ones I’m not sure about what I’ll use them for. The tabs are beautiful as always and the font has printed a bit better this month, so it’s easier to read the words.
The stamps this month are really nice – and incredibly useful. Between my Filofax and my bullet journal these will come in very handy. I haven’t tried them yet but they seem the same great quality as always.
How adorable are those mason jar post it notes?! These are super pretty and have a good amount of functional writing space. These may be the best I’ve received yet! The paperclips are also the best I’ve received since being subscribed and they made their way into my Nude Filofax almost instantly! There’s nothing to not like with the washi either – that pattern is beautiful. I was also super excited to get one of the simple black gel pens again this month. The black gels are always my favourite pens and because of the design, it too went straight into the Nude Filofax.
Finally the pencil case. I’ve mentioned before that I’m a little overloaded on pencil cases now and sadly this came in my least favourite pattern of the month. Because I’ve got so many pencil cases already though, I’m not too sad about not liking this one.
Another awesome month from The Planner Society. This may be my favourite one yet. I’m slightly concerned that March’s box won’t measure up to it! I’m also concerned that I’m developing quite a stash of goodies now that I’m not really using up all that quickly. For anyone else that subscribes long term, how do you use everything up?!
