Holiday Sephora haul!

I just can’t walk past a Sephora.

Even as part of holiday planning I Google to find if there’s any Sephoras around.

Thankfully I came across three on holiday – two in Bordeaux and one in Caen.

I mainly picked up bargains during my trips as there wasn’t anything in particular I was after, other than the sadly discontinued (it seems) body range. The vanilla fragrance was amazing!

Anyway, I digress. Onto my bargains…

First up is Angel Muse fragrance and I’d never heard of it before but I fell in love! I’ve worn both Alien and Angel in the past and they’re my ideal kind of fragrance because they’re so strong. Angel Muse is no different. Two sprays of the EDP this morning and I can still smell it this evening. If you like the original Angel you’ll love this as it doesn’t stray too far away from it. The added fruity element to it just gives it a whole new gorgeous edge to it. The original Angel is almost a little sickly to me now, but this has just the right mix of that trademark fragrance with added top notes of grapefruit and berries.

The coffret contained a 50ml EDP and a mini all for £52 which was a pretty good price considering it’s £62 for just the 50ml from The Fragrance Shop.

Next up is a palette I’ve wanted for a while…

I so wanted this when it was released but I just don’t wear eyeshadow enough to justify the price tag.

However for £25 I just couldn’t say no. Just look at those colours!

I’m not big on doing elaborate eye looks, but I am looking forward to using these for a pretty pop of colour. I reckon Alchemy is going to be a firm favourite.

Finally for my Sephora treats, I picked up something on impulse pretty much based on packaging alone.

A 30 second gel manicure? In a super cute format? I couldn’t resist! This was so easy to use I was even able to do my nails on the ferry back from France! I’m intending on doing a full review in a couple of weeks once I’ve done a few manicures with it.

Thanks to the weak pound Sephora isn’t the cheap make up heaven it used to be, but you can definitely still pick up a few gems!
