Some simple anniversary cards

I’d say anniversary cards are my second favourite card to make after birthday cards.

You can just have some fun with them and make them look super cute and pretty. I needed to make an anniversary card for my grandparents and wanted to make a couple more at the same time so tried to come up with a nice simple design.

This is the card that went to my grandparents. The gold at the back is some glitter ribbon that I found in my stash (I’m fairly certain I received something from a shop wrapped in it – yay recycling!), the lettering is stickers from my Ink Road planner kit and the gold ribbon is made from velum and was found in my stash, left over from when I made wedding cards last year. The blue dotty paper is from the Hey Girl! range by Basic Grey and the blue heart is just regular cardstock from Papermania.

This time the blue polka dot paper is from Now & Then by My Mind’s Eye. The sentiment for this card was made using my gold sketch pen for my Silhouette. It took me a little while to get the hang of these pens but now I ‘get’ them, the possibilities are endless. The next card I make will no doubt have some sketch pen detail.

Simple anniversary

This is similar to a design I saw on Pinterest with the thick string behind the hearts. The sentiment was made using the print and cut function on my Silhouette and the background card is my favourite go-to neutral card.

I prefer the font on this one – ‘My Boyfriend’s Handwriting’ from dafont.com, if you like it too.

I love these cute little cards and the bottom three are all in the shop now. I think these cards may be the first ones in a while to not have enamel dots on them?! I’ll have to rectify that with the next cards…
