The Weekend Review: Liz Earle Superskin Eye

You’ll know if you read my recent Liz Earle haul post that the main reason for the haul was the new Superskin eye cream.

As it’s a brand new product I wanted to save it for it’s own post, after I’d used it for a good couple of weeks. liz earle superskin eyeI’m not going to beat around the bush here; I love this eye cream.

This 15ml bottle costs £35 and is fantastic value because you need so little each use. I’m probably using the equivalent of a pea sized amount a day (I’m using it every morning and evening) so this is going to last me ages. The pump itself is great and lets you get just the right amount out. I don’t think I’ve ever come across bad packaging from Liz Earle.

I never thought I’d say this about an eye cream but my dark circles are actually reducing. I can tell because I’m spending less time desperately trying to cover them up each morning. I’m nowhere near being able to cut out under eye concealer or anything that drastic, but where some mornings I used to have to spend a while repeatedly going over with the concealer I now don’t have to do that anymore. One application of each product in my eye routine is enough now.

While I’m blessed with not having any eye wrinkles I can see the beginnings of fine lines along with the one line I have across my nose in between my eyes. Since I’ve been using the Superskin moisturiser and this eye cream I can definitely see a reduction in that line. I’m pretty confident that using this eye cream will help slow down any fine lines that may start to appear.

I’m really loving this eye cream. It was about time I started actually using one as I hurtle rapidly towards 30!
